PROGETTO IN PARTNERSHIP CON BURKE ENERGY SOLUTION

PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BURKE ENERGY SOLUTION140 kW photovoltaic system installed in two shelters for cars and pick-ups, able to withstand hurricanes and winds up to 180 miles per hour (about 290 km/h) and installed in the parking lot of Key West City Hall (Florida-USA).

The photovoltaic panels are installed to the south, in order to maximize production from solar sources, at an angle of about 20 degrees from the horizon.

This realization, part of the conversion project of the historic Glynn Archer elementary school in the new town hall of Key West, is certified LEED Platinum (LEED promotes a sustainability-oriented approach, recognising the performance of buildings in key areas, such as energy and water saving, reducing CO2 emissions, improving the ecological quality of interiors, the materials and resources employed...), and is the winner of the most outstanding project award ("Most Outstanding" project) of 2018, released by USGBC.
